The Selangor government’s new Smart Intelligent Parking (SIP) system aims to plug revenue leaks in parking collections, but it’s sparked pushback over profit-sharing and transparency. With only 40% of public parking fees returning to local councils, and 70% of drivers not paying at all, we ask: Do you pay for parking, or just take your chances?
