On Why MPs Are MIA in Parliament

Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Tan Sri Johari Abdul suggested that in order to curb absenteeism in parliament, the names of the MPs that did not attend will be listed publicly on the Dewan Rakyat website so that the parliamentary constituents they represent will be informed of their absence. But with all issues, we have to look at the root of the problem. Rajiv Rishyakaran, ADUN of Bukit Gasing, joins us to talk about the structural issues that exist within the parliament system, that results in absenteeism.
