During the parliament session yesterday, Klang MP Charles Santiago mentioned the need to look into the 'sponge-city' concept as a long-term solution to the flooding problem. So first, we discuss the idea behind the 'sponge city' concept. And then, we explore how it might potentially look like in KL and what needs to be done to make it work.
