Evolution Of The Arts In East Malaysia

In light of Malaysia Day, we explore the arts and culture of East Malaysia, and how they have continued to evolve through the years. Firstly, we speak with a social enterprise that’s focused on ensuring that traditional arts practitioners have sustainable income from their artforms. Next, we find out how an arts collective have been innovating and subverting woodcut prints. Lastly, we speak to a musician who incorporates her indigenous heritage into contemporary music.
