Deregulation Of Liquid Nicotine In Vapes

The Malaysian government has announced the removal of liquid nicotine, used in electronic cigarettes and vapes, from the Poisons List of controlled substances. This decision effectively legalises e-cigarettes and vapes with nicotine without any regulations in place, and was done to enable taxation on e-liquids. So first, we talk about the pushback to this, and why activists are concerned. Then, we discuss how exactly we should be regulating these devices.
