According to some sources, alongside the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Who complete the holy trinity of British Rock. Starting off as a hard working pub band with their self-styled brand of Maximum R&B they would become much more: The pioneers of rock opera, a powerhouse arena act, and amongst the first rock groups to successfully integrate synthesisers into their sound.

Think of all of the things that you associate with the classic rock band — the long haired open-chested frontman — the Who. Destruction of instruments and property — the Who. Power chords, - the Who.
