makchic’s Mission: Helping Women Reset, Reclaim, and Return to Work

Many women who take a career break struggle with where and how to start again. makchic’s Returnship Programme offers a bridge back, pairing upskilling and mentorship with empathy and flexibility.

We speak with Liyana Taff, CEO of makchic, on how this initiative is redefining what a career comeback can look like, and why businesses gain when they value empathy and inclusion. Joining her is Yiling Lim, one of makchic’s returners, who shares how the programme helped her rediscover confidence, purpose, and balance.
