Budget 2017 Industry Wishlist

According to Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, the government targets the digital economy to contribute approximately 20% to the Gross Domestic Product by 2020. He also said the digital economy would be the focus of the 2017 Budget that will be announced on Friday by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. This greater level of government digitisation could potential be the key to reach this digital economy target. We speak to Alex Loh, VMWare Country Manager to talk about how this could benefit Malaysia overall and pre-budget 2017 wishlist for the tech space.
