Preserving The Past For The Future

One of the largest collections of archeology and palaeontology, which includes bone fossils and tools human ancestors used to prepare food and defend themselves, is being captured in 3D digital imagery by the National Museums of Kenya. Jeff Sandhu speaks to Frank Heitmann, the President of Digital Divide Data, on how this project came to life and how they are empowering the underprivileged people in places like Kenya through the power of AWS and Dr Fredrick Kyalo, Senior Research Scientist at National Museums of Kenya, on why this was an important step to preserve the past for our future.
