Workplace Injustice: Tackling the Perception Problem?

The problem with injustice is, it’s perceptual. While some cannot condone the slapping of two teenage volleyball players by their coach, others don’t see a problem with it. The same happens outside of the sporting world - whether it’s the “hairdryer treatment” from a supervisor, unsolicited sexual advancements from a colleague, or even bullying in the workplace. Organisational psychologist and CEO of O-Psych Hetal Doshi talks to us about setting safety standards on and off the court, so that offensive behaviour cannot continue to be normalised or condoned.
