Virtual and hybrid AGMs helped maintain healthy levels of shareholder participation amidst social distancing measures during the pandemic. However, as we move into endemicity, the question of whether virtual/hybrid AGMs are here to stay depends on a myriad of factors, including tech, transparency and shareholder democratisation.
