Stevens Chan, Dialogue in the Dark

08-Oct-15 10:00

World Sight Day

Dialogue in the Dark’s concept is simple. The blind guides lead visitors in groups through specially constructed dark rooms in which scent, sound, wind, temperature and texture represents the characteristics of daily environments – for example a park, a city, a boat cruise or a bar. This role reversal breaks people out of their comfort zone and this is what Stevens Chan tries to achieve by setting up Malaysia’s first Dialogue in the Dark.
