Science Needs Women

One fact you need to know about women in science is that women scientists represent just 33.3 percent of researchers globally. Women are leading ground-breaking research across the world but their work rarely gains the recognition it deserves. Why did it happen? We speak to Assistant Professor Dr. Alison Wee Kim Shan, Assistant Professor Dr. Nadiah Abu, and Associate Professor Dr. Mariatulqabtiah Abdul Razak, who won the L’Oreal-UNESCO Fellowship for Women in Science for 2022, to know more about women scientists in Malaysia.
