HerVantage - Women in Entrepreneurship

Based on statistics by the Economic Census, only 19.7 percent of SMEs are owned by women - that’s about one in five women and even so, many tend to be micro-enterprises with limited capital. Be that as it may, the number of women entrepreneurs in Malaysia has evidently increased over the past decade due to the support and guidance provided by the government, private sector and non-governmental organisations. Today as we conclude the year, we will review five women who have been on the show and have truly empowered the spirit of entrepreneurship.
