Travel & Tourism Industries Prepare For Borders Reopening: Part Two

Malaysia has been off limits to tourists for over two years, after shutting its borders to foreigner travellers since March 2020. As we enter into the endemic phase on April 1 2022, the tourism industry will be seeing its light again as it is one of the most important sectors to revive the country’s economy. How will the nation’s travel & tourism players cope with the change? In this episode, we speak to Bryan Foong, Chief Strategy Officer of Malaysia Airlines; Sharzede Salleh Askor, Chief Executive Officer of the Sarawak Tourism Board; and Angelica Chan, Country Manager of Traveloka Malaysia.
