With cinemas being dominated by giant blockbuster films on an almost-monthly basis, other genres are struggling with a result. Comedy, specifically, has taken a backseat. The genre is making less money than ever before, with a dwindling number of people caring to go out and laugh in a communal setting. What does this mean for movies moving forward?
