Person with disabilities and orang kurang upaya are some of the terms we commonly use, but by no means are they the only ones we’re familiar with. In fact, some terms that are continued to be used today may even be hurtful towards these individuals and the community. We take a look at what we should - and shouldn’t say - and why the way we talk about disabilities matter.
