The Daily Digest: Tackling Self-Harm Instagrams

Instagram has announced that it will ban all graphic self-harm images while non-graphic content will have an added sensitivity screen. These decisions are made after they admitted they hadn’t done enough in the past to protect users from self-harm and suicidal content. We discuss whether these changes are sufficient to protect the most vulnerable.

If you are feeling troubled or in need of someone to talk to can call the Befrienders in Kuala Lumpur at 03-7956 8145 or you can e-mail sam@befrienders.org.my
