Preserving the Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve a Must

The Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve (KLNFR) is a type of peat swamp forest, and is home to more than 2000 Temuan Orang Asli and critically endangered species such as the Malayan Sun Bear. The Selangor State Government is proposing to degazette about 930.93 ha of the forest reserve - that's 97% of the forest area - for a mixed development project. We explore why this proposal needs to be rejected, and how you can go about doing it.
