Over the weekend, there was a social media campaign called #MigranJugaManusia to highlight and protest the prejudice and harsh treatment faced by migrant workers and refugees here in Malaysia, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order. The campaign saw thousands of Tweets and posts being made in support of it. We discuss the campaign and its importance.
