The United Nations recently released the State of the World Population 2013 report and the twin issues of child marriages and child births received the most attention. The report found that 9 in 10 child births in the world occur within marriages. In Malaysia, there was almost 18,500 birth by mothers under the age of 18, and 75% of these occur within marriages. What can be done to improve the situation and what happens to the report after its release?
