In 1975, a twenty one year Bathmavathi Krishnan was a Malay Studies undergraduate at the University of Malaya. Before the end of her first year, she was involved in an accident on campus that left her wheelchair-bound. Today, she is Senator Bathmavathi Krishnan and she shares the story behind her activism over the last 4 decades.
