Maszlee Malik Talks Shortage of Teachers & Red Tapes

A couple of weeks ago, the Ministry of Education (MoE)  announced that it will be hiring 18,702 grade DG41 teachers through a special “one-off” recruitment drive. Senior Education Minister Datuk Mohd Radzi Md Jidin said this is to address the shortage of teachers in the country. Former education minister, YB Dr. Maszlee Malik joins us on the show to discuss the issue of shortage of teachers in Malaysia, as well as bureaucracy and red tapes that tend to hinder progress.
