International Day of Women and Girls in Science: Dr. Mary Cardosa

It's the first commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science today, and in conjunction with that, we spoke to Dr. Mary  Suma Cardosa, a  Consultant Anesthesiologist and Pain Specialist, who pioneered the development of clinical services, health workforce education, and pain research in Malaysia.

She was the first female President of the Malaysian Medical Association, and she also set up the first Acute Pain Service, multidisciplinary pain clinic and CBT Pain Management Programs in the Ministry of Health. She joined us for a candid discussion on her career in medicine.
