Unpacking the Health White Paper #2: How Will We Fund Healthcare?

The Health White Paper lays the foundation for much needed reforms to the public healthcare system over the next 15 years, with one of those proposed reforms centred on ensuring sustainable and equitable health financing. What will this look like in terms of the healthcare services and treatments we can access? Will we be paying more for healthcare? And what lessons could we draw from other countries that have implemented such healthcare financing schemes?

Sejal Mistry, Director at Cromwell and Moring International, and Dr Murallitharan Munisamy, Managing Director of National Cancer Society Malaysia joins us to discuss what these possible financing reforms could or should look like, and how it might impact patients’ access to healthcare.
