The Health Agenda Under Malaysia Madani #1: From “Sick Care” to Health Care

As we approach the one year anniversary since Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim was sworn in as the tenth Prime Minister of Malaysia on 24th November last year, we’re taking a look at the different issues in health and healthcare that the Prime Minister and the government can prioritise in the next year. On the first of this mini-series, we’re joined by Assoc Prof Dr Adina Abdullah from the Dept of Primary Care, Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya, to discuss how we can move from “sick care” to health care, with a focus on primary care.
