Surgery for Stroke Prevention

In Malaysia, more than 40,000 cases of strokes are reported each year, leaving many of these individuals with significant disabilities and health complications. So what can be done to bring down the incidence of strokes? We speak to consultant vascular surgeon Dr Yow Kuan Heng on how we can prevent strokes caused by plaque build up in the arteries, and how surgery is an option for some patients.
