Malaysia has the highest rate of obesity in Southeast Asia. The Global Nutrition Report 2018, released last November, has revealed that we also bear the triple burden of malnutrition – stunting, overweight and anaemia. We speak to Zalma bt Abdul Razak, Director of the Nutrition Division, Ministry of Health, to find out how Malaysia is tackling the country’s nutrition problems.
