Psoriatic Arthritis in the COVID Era

The term ‘arthritis’ brings to mind painful joints - but there are many different types of arthritis. A condition called psoriatic arthritis can be as painful and debilitating as osteoarthritis, but with key differences - namely that psoriatic arthritis is an autoimmune condition that also increases your risk of developing other health problems. How do patients manage this condition, especially during a pandemic that places them at additional risk? We find out from Dr Shamala K. Rajalingam, Consultant Rheumatologist & Exco, Arthritis Foundation Malaysia.
