Mind Matters: Building Health Resilience of B40 Families

Low-income families have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The impact of the pandemic on their mental health may be eclipsed by other more visible challenges like the daily struggle to survive, the loss of income, and lack of access to education. In this Mind Matters episode, we speak to three organisations working together on a project to develop the well-being and health resilience of B40 families living in PPR housing. Led by Women of Will, together with SOLS Health and Power of Play, this project simultaneously addresses the needs of women and children in these families. But how does this help to address the community’s mental health needs? We speak to the three organisations to find out more.
