Malaysia Day 2019: State of Healthcare in Sabah

Sabah suffers huge inequities in terms of healthcare resources, compared to Peninsula Malaysia. The remote and rural population in Sabah is often underserved in terms of access to healthcare facilities and trained medical professionals. We look at the state's specific needs, the gaps in healthcare delivery, and the Pakatan Harapan government's pledge to grant more decision-making rights to Sabah.
