How Occupational Therapy Helps Children With Disabilities

What is a child’s occupation? Is it to attend school and learn? To play with friends? And for children who have disabilities or are non-typically developing, what challenges do they face when it comes to participating in such occupations? Three occupational therapists join the show to share their role in supporting children with disabilities, including children with physical, sensory and cognitive impairments.
