Doctor in the House: Lyme Disease

Dr George Lee returns to discuss the latest medical news. Expect deep insights delivered with generous humour. There are reports of people in Malaysia coming down with Lyme disease, especially after travelling. Many cases are being misdiagnosed as the disease is not commonly encountered in Malaysia. Consultant infectious disease physician Assoc Prof Dr Sasheela Ponnampalavanar, joins Dr George to help us understand what is Lyme disease.

 ---

Correction: Lyme disease causes a skin rash known as erythema migrans, not erythema mutiforme as erroneously mentioned in the podcast.
