Doctor in the House: The Kids Are (Not) Alright

Dr George Lee returns to discuss the latest medical news. Expect deep insights delivered with generous humour. This year will be a watershed for the current generation growing up. With all the disruptions to schooling, families' financial challenges, and anxieties over what's happening around them, how are children really coping? In conjunction with World Children’s Day today, we look at the importance of improving children’s access to mental health services, and find out how child helplines can support children and families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Buddy Bear helpline number can be reached at: 1-800-18-BEAR (1-800-18-2327). It is toll free and available everyday between noon and midnight. Volunteers speak English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Tamil.
