Doctor in the House: International Pompe Day

Pompe disease is a rare, inherited disorder that causes permanent muscle damage in children and adults. It occurs in about one in every 40,000 people, and can go undiagnosed for years. In conjunction with this year's International Pompe Day on 15 April, Dr George Lee joins us in shining a spotlight on this rare disease. We speak to Dr Ngu Lock Hock, Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Clinical Genetics, as well as Sivasangaran Kumaran, father of 4-year old Swathi, who lives with Pompe disease.
