Doctor in the House: 1 Million COVID-19 Cases and Counting

Malaysia hit the 1 million cases milestone the previous week, a number of psychological significance considering the country’s success in controlling the pandemic a year ago. How will we turn the tide to ensure that we can enter Phase 2 and 3 of the National Recovery Plan before the end of 2021? We catch up with Datuk Dr Rohaizat Yon, Former Deputy DG of Health (Medical), who was dubbed Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham’s “commander” before he retired from the Ministry of Health in December 2020.
