Corruption in Healthcare

In many countries, health care is among the most corrupt sectors. A UN report released earlier this year found that in countries with a higher level of perceived national corruption, there is a much higher prevalence of poor health. In conjunction with International Anti-Corruption Day tomorrow, we speak to Azrul Mohd Khalib, CEO of Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy, about how corruption prevents people from accessing their basic right to health.
