Our guests tell about this documentary which kicked off its public appearance at the KBS and Busan International Film Festival’s Power of Asian Cinema series on 4th October 2015. The director, Ming Jin represented Malaysia as one of the 10 selected Asian filmmakers to participate in this segment. And ‘A Return to Nostalgia’ is the only Malaysian film to be featured in the Busan International Film Festival in 2015. The premise of the film revolves around Ming Jin and his crew who are attempting to recover an old film titled Seruan Merdeka which is the first film made after the Japanese Occupation that has now been deemed as lost.
