The musician is in the country, courtesy of a collaboration between the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) and the Embassy of Brazil in Kuala Lumpur. Hear from his mouth why a classically trained musician playing the flute, he leaped to the saxophone and into jazz. He tells about Brazil’s unique contribution to music and to jazz in particular. A one-time professional photographer, he shares what he learned about composition and creativity and to the musicians who inclined him to jazz.
